Fukusuke (fukusuke - 福助 )
Fukusuke is a Japanese character famous for bringing good luck and fortune (fuku means luck). The origin of Fukusuke is not clear, but it seems that he did really exist and was a very wealthy and successful merchant from the Edo period .
Small satues of Fukusuke can be found in front or in shops to allow a successful business (similar to the lucky cat manekineko).
