Taketombo (taketombo - 竹蜻蛉)

Taketombo (take = bamboo; tombo = dragonfly) is a toy composed of a stick and a propeller. When turned quickly between hands it flies in the air like an helicopter.

This traditional Japanese toys is said to date back to the 18th century but originate from China where it seems it was invented far before.
