Tokyo Skytree (東京スカイツリ - Tokyo 'Sukaitsurī')

'Tokyo SkyTree' is a tower situated close to Asakusa which has been opened to the public in May 2012. With its height of 634 meters, it is the tallest structure of Japan, twice the height of 'Tokyo Tower'.

Apart from serving as a telecom antenna (television broadcasting), the 'Tokyo Skytree' offers to the public observation platforms, souvenir shops and entertaining activities (planetarium, aquarium, restaurants, etc.).
