Kahla is a German porcelain factory founded in 1844. After the Second World War, the company was nationalized as it was located in East-Germany. In 1991, with the end of communism, the company was privatised but bankrupted two years later. Re-founded and modernised in 1994, it is now a successful company producing very pure design porcelain.
