Camellia (tsubaki - 椿)
The Japanese Camellia (Camellia japonica) is one of best known species of camellia. A lot of hybrids have been produced from it. Camellias flower in spring. They are sometimes mistaken with an other Japanese flower, the sazanka, which flowers in autumn.
