Fukagawa Seiji Porcelain is a well known manufacturer of porcelain of the style known as Arita Yaki, or the Arita Ware. They specialize in almost transparent white porcelain with blue design.
Fukagawa Seiji Porcelain was founded in 1894 by Chuji Fukagawa who adopted the Mt.Fuji and river as logo. The company won the gold prize at the Paris 'Exposition universelle' of 1900. In 1910, Fukagawa Porcelain was appointed purveyor of the Imperial Household.
